Tastes especially good with some arugula as a side salad and topped with hemp seeds :) If you like a lot of sauce on your pasta, just double up the sauce ingredients (or make less pasta - but I would always opt for doubling the sauce ).
This carrot-apple-orange juice is a perfect breakfast or brunch treat! You can also add some beetroot or ginger to it, use more veggies or more fruit - just try! Make sure to include a fat source when drinking it so your body can absorb all the nutrients! This is especially important for fat-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin A, E, D and K.

Hummus is a staple in a plant-based kitchen, so I thought I’d share a recipe that’s easy, but delicious! I prefer a spicy hummus compared to a ‘normal’ one - topped with hemp seeds and I’m ready to eat. It’s great for sandwiches, wraps, burritos, baked sweet potatoes, on rice cakes and with veggies.

After spending the week on the campsite (read about this here) we spent the weekend (Friday to Monday) in Amsterdam, where we could stay with friends, who recently moved there. We had a great time, walking around many kilometers, sightseeing, eating and experiencing a little bit of the nightlife and coffeeshop culture.
In June 2019, my boyfriend and I drove to the Netherlands for a little Surf & Camping Trip. We didn’t find any waves, but we still enjoyed our time. After spending the week on the campsite, we visited friends in Amsterdam for the weekend. All about this (and where we parked our van for free) will be in another blogpost.
Calcium is the micronutrient that most of us will instantly connect with milk and milkproducts, since this is what everyone (and every ad) tells us. But in reality, there are other foods that contain calcium and eating dairy does not guarantee an optimum intake.
This scrambled tofu is the veganized version of scrambled eggs. It has that creaminess and whipped feeling to it. This makes a perfect (meal prepped) breakfast and will keep you full until lunch. I enjoy it especially in the colder months of the year, or when I’m craving something savory for breakfast.
I’m sure you’ve all heard of the famous Chia Pudding and most of you will have tried it at least once. I’ve tried a few Chia Puddings (both store-bought and homemade), but I never really got into it. Eating it once was fine, but a second time was not needed. Until I tried this Chia Pudding.
Is there something better than fresh out of the oven, still warm Banana bread? I just love the texture and the sweet-ish taste. Just like cake, but in a healthier version, that actually fills you up! Perfect for those of you that have a sweet tooth 😉
